Yes its official now, creator & director of popular Netflix show Squid Game has announced Squid Game season 2.
In an interview Squid game’s writer & director Hwang Dong-hyuk announced that the world popular Netflix series will be back for a second season.
“So there’s been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season. So I almost feel like you leave us no choice. It’s in my head right now. I’m in the planning process currently. But I do think it’s too early to say when and how that’s going to happen. So I will promise you this, Gi-hun will be back and he’ll do something for the world.”
As per reports from Bloomberg, Netflix’s Popular TV show “Squid Game” is reportedly worth almost $900 million in impact value, an internal metric. About 132 million people have watched at least two minutes of “Squid Game” in the show’s first 23 days, Broke the Netflix record set by “Bridgerton.”
The two-minute figure is the one Netflix releases to the public for some shows. The company said 111 million people had started the show earlier this month, but that was based on data that is a bit older.
Squid Game is a South Korean survival drama television series available on Netflix it is created by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who wrote and directed all the episodes. Its cast includes Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, Wi Ha-joon, Jung Ho-yeon, O Yeong-su, Heo Sung-tae, Anupam Tripathi, and Kim Joo-ryoung.
