A 49-year-old woman was discovered dead near East Coast Park on Friday morning.
The police received a report of a possible drowning incident near carpark C3 at 5:45 AM.
According to The Straits Time, the woman’s body was recovered from the water and declared dead on the scene by a paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
According to the police there is no foul play, and investigations are ongoing.
The area surrounded by police tape and officers gathered around a blue tent, which is believed to have covered the woman’s body.
In august last year, a 24-year-old man was found dead at East Coast Park.
