Tower transit bus crashed into the covered walkaway outside Yishun MRT, as a result of this at least 3 individuals were reportedly injured.
As per the reports from 8World News, accident happened at around 1:30 pm on Sat, 6 nov. Two people were standing under the covered walkway when the crash happened.
Minister Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim took Facebook to update about the developments after the incident he said “Preliminary checks showed a double decker bus may have driven into the taxi stand right outside Yishun MRT Station. It hit one of the beams supporting the covered linkway, causing the roof to collapse”. He further wrote “I am in touch with LTA, SCDF and the Police to get updates. We will work together to resolve this situation and provide support to the victims & their families where necessary”.
At least 3 people conveyed to the hospital.
The videos circulating online show the damaged front top face of the double decker bus & the glass was completely broken because of the impact. One Injured was being treated at the scene.

Driver Suspended : Company Apologised
As soon as the video of bus crash went viral Tower Transit Singapore said they have suspended the bus captain and we’re very sorry to those who were affected in any way.
Update : Straits Times reported, tower transit bus driver along with two female pedestrians aged 60 & 64 were taken to hospital after crash. We hope no one was seriously injured and we wish them the speedy recovery.
