An 18-year-old male, who was involved in a fatal motorcycle chase along the Seletar Expressway (SLE) that resulted in the death of a Land Transport Authority (LTA) officer, has been hit with additional drug charges, according to a news reports on Tuesday, July 30.
The teenager, whose identity remains protected under the Children and Young Persons Act since he was under 18 at the time of the alleged incidents, has been in remand since early June following the tragic accident.
On Tuesday, he was charged with six new offences, including possession of methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA, nimetazepam, and drug utensils, according to CNA.
These charges stem from a police raid at a flat in 502A Woodlands Drive on June 4, the same date he was also accused of consuming methamphetamine.
The teen was recently hit with a fresh charge for selling his Singpass details.
With these latest additions, the teenager now faces a total of 13 charges.
CNA also reported about the teen has sought legal representation by hiring lawyer Mr. Foo Ho Chew to assist in his defence.
