Two men, aged 28 and 29, have been detained by the police for their suspected involvement in a case of housebreaking and theft.
According to the press release, the Police were alerted to a clinic on 27 November 2022 at about 8.35am which is located in the vicinity of Pasir Ris Drive 10, being broken into on 26 November 2022.
Thirty-five bottles of cough syrup amounting to $432 were purportedly stolen from the location.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from CCTVs and Police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identities of the two men and arrested them on 27 and 28 November 2022, according to the release.
Both men will be charged in court on 29 November 2022 with housebreaking and theft with common intention under Section 451 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code 1871.
The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to 10 years and a fine.
