PropertyLimBrothers Co-Founder No Longer Listed as CEO After Online Claims Circulate

Melvin Lim, co-founder of real estate agency PropertyLimBrothers (PLB), is no longer listed as the firm’s chief executive officer on its official website, amidst widespread online allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a colleague.

PropertyLimBrothers, recognised for its polished video home tours and digital marketing campaigns, was founded in 2016 by Melvin Lim and his brother Adrian Lim.

The agency pioneered presenter-style property tours in Singapore, helping build a strong social media presence and brand identity over the past decade.

As of Jan 27, 2026, Mr Lim’s profile is absent from PLB’s current leadership page, though his historic role remains on the firm’s company history section. Reports indicate that another senior leader at PLB — Grayce Tan, described in social media circulation as vice president for strategy and a property influencer — has also been removed from leadership listings.

Multiple posts shared on Reddit and other platforms over the past several days include screenshots of a message said to be from Mr Lim to PLB staff. In it, he reportedly apologises for a “personal mistake” and says both he and the colleague would step down from their roles to allow the company to operate without distraction. The message also appeals for respect for the privacy of families involved.

The allegations stem from videos and clips first shared on Reddit around Jan 26, which are described as having been filmed from an adjacent office unit. These clips allegedly capture sounds and visuals suggestive of intimate behaviour between two people inside a room and show the pair exiting together — details that have not been independently verified by mainstream news outlets.

Reddit threads discussing the matter have garnered attention, with commenters describing how the video was recorded by other real estate agents hearing noises from a neighbouring office. However, the exact authenticity, origin, and age of the footage remain unconfirmed.

Both Mr Lim and Ms Tan have reportedly made their personal Instagram accounts private following the viral posts. PLB has also restricted comment activity on its corporate Instagram account.

As of now, the firm has not issued an official public statement clarifying the situation, and neither Mr Lim nor PropertyLimBrothers have responded directly to media queries.

Before this controversy, PropertyLimBrothers had grown into one of Singapore’s notable boutique real estate agencies. The firm left PropNex — one of Singapore’s largest brokerage groups — to become an independent entity, emphasising technology, analytics and video-first marketing for property listings.

Melvin Lim, prior to this development, was active in industry events, collaborations and talks where he spoke on property trends and digital marketing within the real estate space.
