The Singapore Police have arrested three 17-year-old teenagers suspected of stealing a motorcycle in Pasir Ris on September 15, 2023.
According to the Police press release, on 15 September 2023, they were alerted to a case of a motorcycle being stolen from a carpark along Pasir Ris Street 12.
“Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from Police cameras and closed-circuit television (CCTV), officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the three teenagers and arrested them on the same day”.
“The stolen motorcycle and helmet were also recovered, the police added”.
One of the teenagers will face court charges on September 18, 2023, under Section 379A of the Penal Code 1871, which carries a maximum seven-year prison sentence and a fine for motor vehicle theft.
Investigations are ongoing for the other two suspects.
