The Singapore Police have arrested a 37-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
WHAT HAPPENED?
According to the press release, the police said that On 25 February 2022 at about 3.25pm, the victim informed the Police that she was followed by an unknown man into the lift of a block of flats along Serangoon North Avenue 4 and was allegedly molested inside the lift.

Arrested Within Six Hours :
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of images from Police cameras, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on the same day at about 7.50pm, the police added.
The police said that the investigations are still on going.
The offence of outrage of modesty carries an imprisonment term of up to two years, a fine, caning, or any combination of such punishments.
