Animals blessing night event is organised by a temple in Singapore on Saturday, May 14 between 730 Pm to 1030 Pm.
In a Facebook post Thekchen Choling Singapore temple located at 2 Beatty Lane in Jalan Besar announced that they are organising this event on the evening of Vesak Day, which is one of the most important Buddhist festivals.
Vesak Day celebrations include monks chanting and acts of generosity are observed by Buddhist organizations and temples.
These include the freeing of caged birds and animals, visiting and giving alms to the poor and needy. Silent marches or meditations in the evening end the daylong celebration.
The temple is conducting various fun filled activities for pets and their owners for free.

๐ช In celebration of Buddhaโs Universal Love for all beings including animals, Thekchen Choling is organising our first animal blessing night event on the eve of Vesak Day! Happening on 14th May from 7.30pm to 10.30pm (come any time in between), there will be many fun-filled and interactive activities for you and your pet to enjoy!
๐พ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ : Give your pets a special blessing by our Venerables at the temple. The blessings of love and light will allow your pets to create a strong affinity with Buddha, giving them a joyous and unique Vesak experience.
๐พ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ : Offer a light together with your pet! Light symbolises hope and lighting a candle for Buddha brings positivity to you and your petโs life. Make your heartfelt wishes together with your pet to gain merits together as one family.
๐พ ๐๐๐ฐ ๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ : Watch your pet create a unique art piece for you to enjoy with your family. This interactive activity will be guided by facilitators for your pet to paint with their paws.
๐พ ๐๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ: Capture beautiful photos with our Vesak themed decorations, sky lanterns, and light displays. Create wonderful memories with your family and beloved pets this Vesak!
