On Tuesday, April 29, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a violent incident occurred at Block 573, Woodlands Drive 16, involving two teenage girls.
A 17-year-old girl allegedly slashed an 18-year-old girl with a knife during a quarrel in the vicinity between the blocks 573 and 573A.
The 18-year-old victim was conscious when taken to the hospital for treatment.
The 17-year-old suspect was immediately apprehended by police officers at the scene.
According to reports from Shin Min Daily News, the two girls had engaged in a dispute prior to the attack, though the cause of their argument remains unclear.
After the assault, the 17-year-old did not flee but was detained by police officers on site.
Residents in the area recounted hearing unusual noises in the corridor early in the morning.
One male resident noted, “At midnight, I heard some commotion, and when I opened my door, I saw police officers moving around upstairs.”
Another resident observed police cars downstairs and noted that officers were seen searching near the garbage chute later in the morning.
Furthermore, some members of the public shared photos on social media platform Xiaohongshu, showing police vehicles parked outside the block and a person dressed in pink rummaging through a pile of trash near the garbage chute.
