A 57-year-old Singaporean woman has been charged with sexual exposure and harassment after allegedly exposing herself to her 16-year-old son at their home near MacPherson Road.
According to the news report, the first incident occurred at around 1 a.m. on December 26, 2021, when the woman allegedly lifted her sleeping gown and exposed herself to her son.
On another occasion, at about 8 a.m. on January 18, 2022, the woman reportedly committed harassment while at home with her son.
She allegedly asked him: “Are you going to tell the police that I expose myself again? Then I will just expose myself,” before gesturing as if to pull down her skirt.
The woman, who cannot be named due to a gag order protecting the boy’s identity, was charged with one count each of sexual exposure and harassment on September 26, 2025.
Court documents did not disclose how the alleged offences came to light.
If convicted of sexual exposure, she could face up to two years in prison and a fine.
Conviction for harassment carries a potential sentence of up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $5,000.
The case is scheduled to be mentioned in court again on October 10.
