A 15-year-old boy was arrested for robbery at the 7 Claymore condominium on the evening of April 10, following a violent altercation that prompted multiple police units to respond to the scene.
Residents reported a fight occurring on the 10th floor of the building.
According to the report, the situation escalated significantly, resulting in a 17-year-old boy being taken to the hospital with visible injuries.
“Blood was everywhere, and the kid from the unit was cleaning it up when the police arrived,” the eyewitness recounted.
Residents have been increasingly alarmed by the behavior of teenagers frequenting the condominium, particularly a youth reportedly known for being intoxicated in the common areas and involved in various disturbances, including the theft of delivery packages.
Parents in the building have been actively communicating with security staff to safeguard their children, as concerns grow about the presence of underage teens engaging in drinking and vaping.
On the night of the incident, four police cars and an ambulance were dispatched to the condominium at approximately 9:40 PM after receiving a call for assistance.
The altercation involved several teenagers, and the 17-year-old victim is believed to be the boyfriend of a Secondary 5 student from St. Margaret’s School.
The police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
