- What Happened & When?
The unfortunate incident happened at Punggol Central where a 54 year-old man was found lying motionless in early morning in a rubbish chute compactor room. As per reports from Channel NewsAsia (CNA) the man was identified as a local block sweeper who worked for the town council. SCDF (Singapore Civil Defence Force) received a call for assistance at Block 623C Punggol central at about 8:15am on Oct, 16.
- Pronounced Dead At The Scene
The man was later pronounced dead at the scene by SCDF paramedics. Based on the preliminary investigations police do not suspect any foul play and they are investigating the case.
