Multiple incidents of bullying involving teenage students at ITE College Central are now under investigation following the circulation of disturbing videos on various social media platforms.

The videos, which surfaced yesterday on Facebook, Instagram & Telegram on (2 Aug), show alarming scenes of physical aggression among students within the campus premises.
In the footage, groups of teens can be seen physically assaulting victims with kicks and punches, while a crowd of onlookers watches. Some bystanders were also seen recording the events on their phones.
In one clip, a teenage boy is seen on his knees in a stairwell surrounded by a group of approximately ten peers. As part of a humiliating act, the boy is compelled to kiss the shoes of a teenage girl, and subsequently, her bare feet.
The situation escalates when a voice is heard shouting for the boy to “lick the ****ing shoe,” and he is then suddenly kicked in the head by another student.
A second individual follows up with a slap across his face.

In yet another unsettling clip, a boy clad in a black shirt delivers a high kick to the face of a fellow student, who collapses to the ground and remains unresponsive.
Following the emergence of these clips, Suresh Natarajan, the principal of ITE College Central responded to Straits Times queries and stated that the institution is aware of the incidents and that a thorough investigation is currently underway to address the situation and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
According to Mothership, the principal said :
“As an educational institution, we strive to provide all our students with a safe, caring and supportive environment. The college takes a serious view on bullying and will not hesitate to take disciplinary action against students found in breach of our code of conduct.
We urge students who witness such incidents to report the matter to their lecturers immediately.
We will also reach out to the victims and their family members to extend our support.”
