A violent altercation involving several truck drivers and a forklift operator took place on Saturday evening (October 5) around 8 PM at a parking lot behind Super Bowl Jurong, located at 1 Yuan Ching Road.
The incident was reportedly triggered when a female companion of the truck drivers claimed she had been inappropriately touched, according to Shin Min report.
Police received an emergency call for assistance from the vicinity of 1 Yuan Ching Road around 8:05 PM, prompting a swift response from both law enforcement and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

Witnesses reported seeing a bloodstained fluorescent safety jacket near a rubbish bin outside a nearby toilet, raising concerns about the severity of the altercation. Eyewitness accounts describe a chaotic scene, with one bystander noting they witnessed a man bleeding from the head as paramedics rendered aid.
Upon the arrival of reporters from Shin Min Daily News, at least four police cars were observed on the scene, indicating the significant police presence in response to the incident.
Multiple individuals were seen being questioned by law enforcement officers.
According to Shin Min, Witness Mr. Zhang, 44, who was dining at a nearby location, recounted that he witnessed a group of men violently attacking another individual with an iron rod.
“The victim was outnumbered and badly injured, bleeding from his head. In a panic, I shouted that I was a police officer, but they continued to beat him without stopping. I had no choice but to call the police,” he stated.
Another witness, Mr. Mohamad Ali, 56, described seeing a man lying on the ground with severe head injuries while paramedics attended to him. He mentioned that the victim was conscious and able to communicate during the treatment before being transported to the hospital.
A friend of the injured man, who preferred to remain anonymous, shared that the victim, a 40-year-old forklift driver, was attending a barbecue party with friends at the time of the incident. The friend denied any wrongdoing on the victim’s part, explaining that the confrontation began when the injured man glanced at the female companion of the attackers. The assailants questioned him about his gaze, and when he replied that he had the right to look, they initiated the assault.
