On Saturday morning, a 70-year-old man was discovered dead in the Golden Mile Complex’s car park.
According to the police, they were notified of the incident at 9 am and discovered the man lying motionless when they arrived. A paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Service declared him dead on the spot.
According to Straits Times, the police have classified the incident as an unnatural death, but they did not believe there was foul play involved.
A witness, who wished to remain anonymous, told ST that at least four police cars, including a van from the criminal investigations unit, parked along Beach Road in front of the building.
Police tape preventing entry to the homeowners’ parking lot was also visible in a photo taken on the scene.
Police investigations are ongoing.
