Man in Singapore was caught stealing alcohol at ACE Signature supermarket, Serangoon days before new year.
The smart thief spent less than $10 on soft drinks and snacks in the store and stole $800 worth of alcohol.
CCTV footage shows man in blue walking around the supermarket with a shopping basket & after few seconds he sits behind boxes opens his backpack and starts transferring some items from his shopping basket to his backpack.
The incident happened on 27 December 2021.

The store manager told local News reporter that after he checked the footage he alerted his boss.
Store manager said, the man had stolen 3 bottles of alcohol 2 bottles of cognac and 1 bottle of whisky worth about $800 in total.
The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to 7 years and shall also be liable to fine.
