The world’s 500 Most Influential Muslims also know as The Muslim 500 publication has ranked Halimah Yacob at 36th spot this year, previous year she was at 37th spot. She is the only singaporean who made it to top 50.
Halimah Yacob is also one among the two women who made it to to top 50 this year. The ranking was released by jordam based Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre. This publication sets out to ascertain the influence of muslims have on this community, or on behalf of the community.
The top 50 individuals are ranked in three general categories rulers & politicians, scholars & preachers, social issues, media, science, arts, culture & sports.
