The police are looking into the incident where a teenage girl was beaten up by three girls on Tuesday night (Aug. 16) in a Sengkang parking lot after videos of the incident went viral online.
The three girls, all dressed in black, surrounded the victim in white dress and they were seen punching, kicking, slapping her. Two male teens were also present at the scene.
According to The Straits Times, the police said they were alerted to the incident at about 9.30pm on Tuesday.
The trio are alleged to have assaulted the victim at the multi-storey carpark of Block 269 at Compassvale Link in Sengkang.
“The female teenager sustained injuries but did not require immediate conveyance to hospital. She subsequently sought medical attention,” said a police spokesman, who added that the teenagers involved are believed to be known to one another.
The teen attackers had accused the victim of causing relationship troubles for others by bad-mouthing them.
The boys in the video are believed to be wearing T-shirts from Jurong Secondary School.
Several media persons have contacted the school for comment.
