[Breaking] : S’pore Reports More Than 5000 New Covid-19 Cases On Oct 27, Here’s What MOH Said About The Unusual Surge

Ministry Of Health (MOH) has recorded 5,324 new Covid-19 infections on Wednesday Oct 27, 12 pm. MOH said the cases are “unusually high” and it is closely monitoring the trends for next few days.

MOH said, “The infection numbers are unusually high today, mostly due to many covid-19 positive cases detected by the testing labs within a few hours in the afternoon” in its daily update.

Closely Monitoring :

MOH said it is looking into the unusual surge and closely monitoring the trends for the next few days. On Oct 27, Singapore reported 4,651 community cases, 661 new dorm cases and 12 imported cases, total 5,324 .

So far Singapore has reported 349 deaths & 84% of the population has completed its two (full regimen) doses of vaccination. 85% of the population has received at least one dose & 745,102 eligible candidates has received their booster shots. The weekly infection growth is at 1.15.
