Singapore : Fully vaccinated individuals can now travel overseas & return without to singapore any quarantine in coming week. From October 19, vaccinated travelers from these countries can enter Singapore without quarantine under Vaccinated Lane Agreement( VTL).
- Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, Netherland, Britain & US.
On Friday October 8, The Transport Ministry announced that it will open borders between Singapore & South Korea for fully vaccinated individuals from Nov 15 new under VTL. Application for the VTP for Korea wil start from November, 15 2021.
Requirements for Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) travelers :
- Must be Fully vaccinated. They will have to present their vaccination certificates issued by any VTL country or Singapore.
- All travelers entering Singapore will have to observe series of requirements, visitors entering under VTL will have to take 2 PCR test pre departure & on arrival. PCR tests on Day 3 & Day 7 of incoming travelers will no longer be needed. Also, they will have to take designated VTL flights to enter Singapore. Further details about these flights will be announced by airlines soon.
- Short-term visitors & long-term pass holders will have to apply for Vaccinated Travel Pass to enter Singapore. Short-term visitors are advised to obtain visa for travel & get approval to enter or to exit Singapore.
- Travel insurance is must, visitors must have travel insurance with a minimum coverage of $30k for Covi-19 related hospitalisation and medical treatment before traveling to Singapore.
So now you can travel to total 11 countries with reduced PCR tests – Once within 48 hours before departing to Singapore. Second will be upon arrival at Changi Airport.
