Threats, bullying, racism and sexism are most common of the trolling that happens online and that can be devastating for social media users, the general public.
A redditor shared his encounter with a racist woman inside MRT. According to the redditor the woman said that angmos and indians are the most “dumb fucking stupid shits” and should “stay away from sgporean women”.
The Redditor shared his story with a question “how do you deal with such situations”,
When the question was posted on r/singaporeraw many users shared their opinions on the matter, few said they would laugh at the woman, one wrote “completely ignore the person and act like the person doesn’t exist”.
Another redditor said that general hatred against “foreigners” is undoubtedly getting more and more common.
The post gather many such response and one comment from a “keyboard warrior he used a racial slurr against the OP, he wrote “Why angmoh when you can call your self white trash” in comments & this triggered another redditor and they started fighting in DMs”.
After they started fighting in DMs, they planned to meet at buena vista to “talk this out“.
