A 37-year-old man was hospitalized after a frightening accident involving a Power-Assisted Bicycle (PAB) in Eunos on Jun. 20.

The incident occurred near Block 115 Eunos Avenue 3 at around 3:15pm.
According to report, the man fell headfirst into a drain and was left trapped in an upside-down position.
Images of the accident were circulated widely on social media and showed the man with his upper body and part of his lower body stuck in the drain, while his legs protruded out.


Both the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted to the accident and responded promptly.
The 37-year-old man, who was conscious throughout the ordeal, was taken to Changi General Hospital for further treatment. It is believed that the man self-skidded along Eunos Avenue 3 towards Eunos Road 8 before the accident occurred.
Police investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
