A 37-year-old woman has been arrested for her alleged involvement in the murder of a 56-year-old man in a residential unit along Beach Road.
The police were alerted to a call for assistance and found the man lying unconscious inside the unit.
He was taken to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive, according to the report.
The woman was arrested at the scene and a knife believed to be the murder weapon was seized. The police stated that both parties are known to each other. The woman is set to be charged with murder and the offence carries the death penalty.
Police investigations are ongoing into the incident.
The woman will appear in court on May 9 to face her charges.
