A 37-year-old man was arrested by police for his suspected involvement in a series of obscene act in public place.
According to Singapore Police Force, Between July and November 2022, the Police received multiple reports of ‘obscene act’ and sexual exposure by an unknown man around the vicinity of Woodlands, Canberra and Yishun housing estates.
Through follow-up investigations and with the aid of police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division established the identity of the man, the police said in a press release.
The man was charged in court on 19 November 2022 for the offence of doing obscene act in public place, under Section 294 of the Penal Code 1871.both
If found guilty, the man faces a jail term of up to three months and/or a fine.
