Three Singaporean men have been charged in court for allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a 14-year-old girl during separate incidents in July 2024.
The men, identified as Goh Shao Heng, 24, Yong Eak Chung, 28, and Terrance Teo Jian Xiang, 29, are facing serious offences against minors.
According to ST report, court documents dated November 18, Goh is accused of committing a sexual act on July 4 at a staircase landing on the 10th floor of a block of flats in Punggol.
The alleged incident took place between 8:59 PM and 9:30 PM.
The following day, on July 5, Teo reportedly engaged in a similar act at an unknown staircase landing in the same Punggol block, with the offence occurring between 6:52 PM and 7:11 PM.
Again on July 7, Yong is alleged to have sexually penetrated the girl at a flat in Bishan, although the specific time of that incident has not been disclosed.
The identities of the girl and the locations of the offences are protected under a gag order issued by the court, which aims to safeguard the victim’s privacy and well-being.
Each of the accused men has been charged with one count of sexually penetrating a minor, and the prosecution is expected to present more evidence as the case unfolds. It remains unclear whether the three men were acquainted with each other prior to the alleged offences.
All three men are scheduled to return to court on December 19 for further proceedings. If found guilty, they could face significant penalties, including imprisonment of up to 10 years, fines, or both.
